    Description

    The Role

    Following our recent success in securing a grant in collaboration with renowned institutions, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join us on this exciting journey. This research focuses on the modeling and measurements of galaxy alignments for weak gravitational lensing surveys. You will have access to various surveys including LSST, Euclid, Subaru HSC, and PFS, and we welcome applicants interested in pursuing related projects within this field.

    We seek candidates with a solid background in astrophysics and cosmology, experienced in analyzing and modeling data from large-scale structures and weak gravitational lensing. This full-time position is fixed-term for 2 years with a potential one-year extension. The role involves working at Newcastle University and the University of Tokyo.

    • Desirable: experience with simulated data, Halo Model, Direct IA measurements

    Qualifications

    • PhD in a relevant discipline for Research Associate level
