An exciting opportunity to join Bromley Academy Trust (Midfield Campus) and gain some hands-on experience as a Sports Coach while also gaining Level 3 qualification. We are keen to employ someone who is eager to get involved in Sports and active learning for our pupils. Quality training a
nd support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervising class activities
  • Assisting with young people's learning experiences
  • Helping students who may need extra support
  • Planning sessions and think about learning objectives, potential to lead sports activities such as warm up sessions
  • Working alongside the teacher to support classroom activities
  • Help pupils with assessments and inputting data
  • Support equality and diversity in PE & sport
  • Promote health, safety and welfare
  • Set up, take down and store activity equipment
  • Accompany and assist PE coordinator in all offsite activities

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?


You will be working towards your Level 3 Teaching assistant qualification, with the support of your workplace mentor and LMP Education tutor.


You will receive monthly online review sessions with your tutor via a platform called Smart assessor, to ensure you're on track to completing the apprenticeship.

All apprenticeship learning / assignments will be completed online, the rest of the time you will be expected to be in the workplace (Mon-Fri)


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
