Description
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our Service team as a Senior Service Advisor.

The role involves guiding the customer throughout their aftersales journey, from booking in their vehicle to liaising with them until their vehicle is ready to collect.


The Senior Service Advisor will work collaboratively with our service and workshop teams to ensure that the operational processes are run smoothly to ensure an excellent experience for the customer.

In order to do this, the role involves supporting the Aftersales Manager to carry out aftersales processes, and working with our team of technicians to ensure that the workshop is running efficiently.

Our Service Advisors work alongside our busy workshop team who carry out vehicle services, MOTs and repairs, to ensure that the customer receives excellent customer service throughout.


SLM Nissan Hastings will soon incorporate a Bosch Car Service as well as continuing as a busy Nissan brand Authorised Repairer.

Therefore, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, experienced, and ready to make an impact from their first day

Requirements:


Key Job Areas of the Senior Service Advisor role:

  • Works closely with the Aftersales Manager to oversee the service department, both front and back of house operations.
  • Ensures all KPI's are set and hit by the department
  • Manages, coaches and motivates employees to ensure a high quality of staff
  • Agrees the details of the work to be carried out with the customer
  • Builds rapport and qualifies the customers' requirements
  • Liaises with the workshop to deliver agreed jobs set
  • Updates the customer throughout the process, and ensures customer satisfaction on completion
  • Works as a full member of the dealership team

What we're looking for in a Senior Service Advisor:

  • Must have an extensive background in the motor trade with experience in service /workshop control
  • Excellent customer service/people skills
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills
  • Flexible 'can do' approach
  • Ability to work as part of, and lead a team
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
