Clinical Teaching Fellow in ENT

**Location: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital


This is a combined clinical and teaching post, ideally suited to an individual who has completed an F2 year or equivalent, and wishes to gain formal experience in undergraduate teaching and ENT Surgery prior to commencing Core Training.

The clinical part of the job would be working in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital ENT unit, one of the largest ENT units in the UK.

You would get clinical experience in all ENT subspecialities including Head and Neck, otology, rhinology and paediatric ENT. Successful applicants will work a 1:10 full shift rota.

The teaching part of the job will involve helping support the delivery of undergraduate ENT education to Glasgow University medical students.

Glasgow University was ranked 1st in the UK for medicine the Complete University Guide 2021.

The post holder would be encouraged to embark on a course leading to a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions Education at Glasgow University.


This is not a recognised training post but provides an excellent opportunity to develop teaching and ENT clinical skills as well as portfolio preparation.

You will be fully supported to develop your portfolio.

The post is for 12 months commencing in August 2023.
