Teaching Assistant - Full or Part Time, Surrey

Love Teachers is recruiting for a confident and friendly Teaching Assistant to join a leading co-educational prep school in Surrey with a focus on promoting independence, self worth and a love of learning.

The role currently runs from April - September 2023 and is open to full time or part time (mornings only) applicants.

You will support the education, supervision and engagement of pupils as directed, inspiring and encouraging students to follow their passions and reach their full potential.

Maintenance of a cheerful, well-organised and stimulating classroom environment is essential, as is the ability to create healthy and collaborative relationships with students, parents, and teachers.

You will provide SEN support, 1:1 and full class assistance as well as helping to prep teaching materials and resources and create and maintain classroom displays and noticeboards.

This creative and nurturing school structures it's teaching around the interests of the pupils. Favouring topic based learning and engagement with the real world.

Pupils are confident and well loved and respected by all staff and Teaching Assistants are fully supported by the staff body and have huge opportunities to develop teaching skills in early years.

The school is located within vast open countryside with excellent facilities and a dynamic, community feel.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience working in UK schools within the past 2 years.**
Enhanced DBS.

- Excellent Qualifications.

- Ability to use ICT effectively.

- Great references.

- Motivated attitude and a passion that inspires students.
