We have a very exciting opportunity working with a world-renowned Lond based Arts institution where you can join a bright team of specialists working within the Digital Delivery team.

As well as systems support the role will present a unique career opportunity to move into Product roles by ownership of the research product roadmap and system enhancements from technical design to delivery.

The salary ranges between £42- 46k with a fantastic range of benefits including up to a fantastic 19% employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday (plus bank hols and additional closure days) maternity, paternity and adoption pay.

The role sits within the Digital Delivery team with the main objectives of this role being:

  • Update and develop a suite of business systems, including ERP platforms, Unit4, Itrent, Dashboard, Stonefish, donations CRM and more. You will take ownership of the product roadmap from technical design to delivery
  • Being the first and second line of day to day support for business systems
  • Develop and upgrade operational reporting to support operational decision making and data analysis
  • Work closely with IT Digital Trainer to revise training documentation and classes as system changes are rolled out
  • Support development of elearning modules for selfservice learning.
  • Lead Functional Testing of system changes and developments
  • Lead on the design and implementation of UX enhancements relating to the relevant business systems
  • Assist delivery of key college Digital projects in line with the College's Strategy
  • Create documentation for business users with a knowledge base of common issues and their fixes for College business systems
The person

  • This role is a newly created position and requires a real people person that is experienced in engaging with stakeholders at a technical and nontechnical level.
  • Strong systems support background, advanced MS Office/Google/ERP suite skills.
  • A person focused on systems improvement and efficiency with excellent customer service and the approach to surpass customer expectations.
  • A proven ability to solve complex problems where solutions are not readily available nor is the problem well defined.
  • Another essential skill alongside stakeholder engagement is the ability to write structured documentation in a format understandable to all levels of the userbase
  • Patience to work with colleagues who may be experiencing difficulty with business systems to secure a successful outcome.
  • Ability to take users on a journey to get the most desired outcome for the user and institution
Experience of working in the education and / or public sector would be advantageous but not essential.

The institution Is based in London but this role offers hybrid working with the current requirement to come into office just once a month.
