We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking design and manufacture business.
Icotherm Roof Systems (Trading name of Iconservatories Ltd) is the market leader in the supply of high-quality timber framed lightweight roof solutions to the conservatory and extension market sectors with a reputation for quality products and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Ordering products based on company requirements and specifications.
- Developing and building strong relationships with internal customers and key suppliers to maintain and continuously improve purchasing performance.
- Researching product and pricing information.
- Present written or verbal reports to key management.
- Communicate and educate internal stakeholders on new suppliers or products.
Day to day purchasing activities will include:
- Raising, issuing, and expediting new purchase orders.
- Goods Received Note (GRN) processing and chasing of missing items.
- Consolidate and match receipts.
- Support the accounts payable team to enable a smooth process flow of receipting and matching invoices against open purchase orders.
- Management of price lists and supplier information.
- Administration associated with the purchasing function along with any other duties as and when required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Selfmotivated, even when more mundane tasks need completion.
- Selfdriven and thrives in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Efficiently and accurately communicate both verbally and in written form.
- A friendly and professional manner with a calm and focused attitude towards workload.
Education:
- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Previous experience gained in a business administrative role 2 years required.
- Previous experience of purchasing 2 years required.
- Manufacturing or Construction Industry
- 1 year preferred

From £23,500.00 per year
