Recruit 2 You have an exciting new vacancy based in Ripley, Derbyshire Due to growth and success our client are now looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team.


Our client are a Derbyshire based well known Chartered Accountancy firm, and are looking for an individual experienced Administrator to be based in their Derby office.


Your responsibilities as the new Office Administrator:

  • To answer telephone calls within 3 rings
  • Assisting clients/visitors in Reception
  • To be courteous to all clients
  • Typing of all correspondence and accounts as required
  • Keeping diary record for all staff
  • Filing and archiving of files when necessary
  • Prepare outgoing post by 4:00pm
  • Assisting with the continual development of Iris database including the creation of standard letters for mailmerge purposes
  • Processing the return of client books and records.
  • Processing of client payments by credit/debit card in accordance with the Firm's PCI Compliance procedures.
  • Stationery and other office supplies.
  • Assisting with Health & Safety actions for the office.

Other duties as the Office Administrator will include:

  • All other administrative duties, as required in support of fee earners and Senior Secretary.
  • Maintain a diary of regular duties together with completion dates.
  • Ensure compliance with office and Practice Assurance Procedures and Money Laundering Regulations
  • Carry out Health & Safety duties as per the Health & Safety Calendar and ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Comply with professional standards and ethics
  • Comply with Data Protection/GDPR Regulations

About the role:


  • Monday
  • Friday 9:00am 17:00pm
- £21,000
- "Flexi-working" policy in place and working hours can be discussed at interview and agreed on start of employment.
