    Marketing and Communications Specialist

    The new University Entrepreneurship Hub will support and promote the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem within and around University.

    As Marketing and Communications Specialist,you will be responsible for communicating the University's entrepreneurial offering and achievements, both internally and externally.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for developing the strategic marketing and communications strategy, in collaboration with the Innovation Communications Manager

    You will identify and engage with a range of stakeholders and audiences, providing timely and relevant information that is aligned with and leveraging the Entrepreneurship Hub's efforts.

    Writing, editing and publishing a range of entrepreneurship communications materials for broad audiences is a key part of the role. including newsletters, blog posts, briefings, and reports.

    About You

    To be successful in this varied role you will need extensive communications experience in print, digital and social media.

    You will have proven experience in producing effective web content, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-specialist audiences.

    You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and the ability to inspire the confidence of senior colleagues and key stakeholders.

    The ability to work independently in a complex environment, taking initiative when necessary and prioritising effectively to meet deadlinesis also required for this role.
