- Role Purpose / Summary:
The Head of Clinical Service will manage the Clinical Services team, ensuring clinical excellence, team development, and health and safety.
- Role Specific Responsibilities:
- 1.
Management:
- Implement BioGrad Clinical Services.
- Develop departmental strategy and policies.
- Manage consultant engagement and agency relationships.
- Oversee team performance and development.
- Chair departmental meetings.
- Maintain financial oversight.
- Manage team rota and leave.
- Provide management and oncall cover.
Clinical Service:
- Ensure adherence to sample return procedures and GDPR protocols.
- Oversee clinical and administrative training.
- Lead Clinical Governance within BioGrad group of companies.
- Manage customer service.
- Establish and maintain policies.
- Monitor and implement government legislation.
- Lead ISO standards compliance.
- Handle client liaison and service requests.
New Service Set Up:
- Lead the setup and development of new services.
- Manage regulatory requirements for new services (CQC, ISO, HTA).
- Produce and implement plans for new services.
- Person Specification:
- Qualifications, Training & Knowledge:
- NMC Registered Nurse or other HCPC registered professional.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
- PGCE or equivalent, and QTS or relevant qualification.
- Level 3 Safeguarding certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Experience in undertaking independent clinical examination.
- Experience of liaising with clients.
- Experience of policy development and implementation.
- Experience of services development and implementation.
- Experience of working in multicultural environments.

Circumstances:
- Fulltime (35 hours).
- Flexible approach with willingness for outofhours work and oncall duties.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
