Description

Ticketing agent (sabre) required to work for this expanding business travel company from home based anywhere in Europe. Ticketing experience is a must, strong on sabre. Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, salary up to £31,600 plus bonus and benefits.


Ticketing agents duties

  • Performs Quality Control for all tickets and ensures ticketing is done for all bookings (offline/online) using sabre
  • Monitors applicable queues and takes action depending on reasons: ticketing, refunds, or voids.
  • Manually stores fares that error out through the automation process and issues tickets, as necessary.
  • Becomes an expert in ticketing, processing refunds, commissions for CA/NAM PCCs, and the differences of processes and requirements in each region.
Ensures reservations are reviewed for commission opportunities.
Tests corporate contracts to verify if the corporate rates are loaded in GDS properly.

  • Collaborates with BT Operations team and identifies areas of improvements, seeks smooth operation ideas and makes recommendations to Team Lead.
  • Continually stays informed of all airline rules and regulation

Ticketing agents skills required

  • Ticketing experience is a must, ideally for another TMC but they are open
  • Strong sabre experience is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
