Full Time

Working hours Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm)

About the Role


We currently have an exciting vacancy for the role of Childcare Assistant in the team at Sanyu Daycare to support the ongoing success of the nursery.

As a Childcare Assistant you will support the quality of early education and care for children and families. You will support with the planning and implementation of learning experiences for children accessing the setting.

The role will involve working with children and families from an increasingly diverse community to ensure all needs are met in a welcoming environment.

The role involves working directly with children and families as part of an experienced professional team.

You will be a Key person for a group of children to enable them to reach their potential through positive relationships and experiences.


About you
You will have experience of working with or caring for young children.

You must have numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE Grades A-C and be willing to work towards a relevant Level 2 qualification in early years.

You will have some knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put the principles into practice across the early years.

You will have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. You will be able to form positive relationships with children and families.

You will be committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that the needs of children and families are met in an ever-evolving high quality setting.

You will be a team player who values and respects the contributions of others. You will be a good communicator and passionate about working with children.
