We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our professional team as a Call Centre Operative. The role is front line and customer facing, and therefore will require a confident individual with strong interpersonal skills.

The role calls for an individual with a positive outlook with a flexible and adaptive approach to their work. The right individual will ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times.

Main responsibilities:

Making telesales and market research calls to new and existing customers
Dealing with customer orders, card payments, enquiries and complaints
Advising about products and services
Updating customers' records on computer databases
Approximately 80% of your time will be spent taking calls, queries and messages over the telephone and 20% on administration
A consistent, composed and controlled approach towards the volume of calls should be maintained

Skills required for this role:

Excellent customer care and communication skills
An articulate, pleasant voice and excellent telephone manner are essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees at all levels
The ability to follow instructions where applicable
Competent IT skills would be an advantage with accuracy and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills are essential and the ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deal with difficult situations calmly and politely
A good command of both written and spoken English
Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

With experience, you may get extra responsibilities, like training, call monitoring and quality control.
