Service Administrator - Up to £24,000pa The function of the
Service Administrator is to provide cohesive, pan-divisional administrative and operational support to the in-house and field-based UK engineering teams.
Duties Working as a member of a team in a busy environment that serves the UK Group of Companies and its divisions, general duties will include:
- Acquiring and maintaining a good working knowledge of all major departmental administrative support procedures and processes
- Proactively assisting in the maintenance and improvement of existing administrative procedures and processes
- Sharing of tasks with administrative colleagues as a matter of routine and when situations demand
- Other duties, specific to particular operational activities include:
- HelpDesk
- To ensure that requests for support made by customers to our HelpDesk are efficiently and effectively handled to the satisfaction of the customer
- Receiving incoming calls to the HelpDesk from our customers
- Logging calls onto our computerised call tracking system (Sales Force Service Module)
- Directing support request to appropriate technical support staff
- Providing quotations and processing purchase orders (in SAP)
- Invoicing of all servicerelated activities (using SAP)
- Tracking of stock parts, loan parts and repairs
- Monitoring and updating Planned Maintenance Schedules
- Sharing a variety of routine HelpDesk administration tasks
General Admin To ensure that the administration work of an intensely customer-oriented service team is efficiently and effectively handled to the satisfaction of customers and the business:
- Design and use of spreadsheets to organise, record and analyse service agreements, schedules and costing information
- General office administration, upkeep of various registers, distribution, collection and collation of miscellaneous documentation within and between departments
- Maintenance of engineers' call plan
- Timely and costeffective ordering of cryogenic liquids and special gases
Location The position is based at our Coventry office. Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the Coventry office is a condition of employment.

Qualifications:
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- High standard of oral and written English
- Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communications skills, good articulation and a high standard of spoken English
- Experience of SAP and Sales Force (Service Module) are preferred but not essential
- A well developed and responsible attitude with an enthusiasm for helping others
- Reliability and a sense of purpose in seeing things through
Hours Hours of work are nominally 37.5 hours per week with a starting time of 9.00am.
