Senior Procurement Manager for a well-established, forward-thinking client in the
Swindon area.

Main Duties:


  • Take charge of international projects focused on Sustainability and Strategy, collaborating closely with various departments.
  • Create and facilitate strategic concepts and methodologies, prioritising Sustainability, Procurement Strategy, and Market Intelligence.
  • Establish and continually improve Sustainability initiatives across three areas: Environmental, Social/Human Rights, and Governance, with a particular focus on the supply chain.
  • Develop and track Sustainabilityrelated performance indicators such as GHG emissions and human rights compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Procurement Sustainability and Strategy, liaising with other departments as needed.
  • Generate highquality management proposals and information papers, drawing on extensive knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operational procurement teams, Group and OpCo Sustainability teams, and external partners such as suppliers and associations.
  • Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with international stakeholders.

Required Skills:


  • A passionate advocate for Sustainability with deep expertise and experience in key areas such as Environmental, Social/Human Rights, and Governance.
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
  • A highly independent, systematic, quality
- and goal-oriented approach to work, with a broad range of methodological skills.

  • Proven experience in project management and presenting skills, having served as a project or subproject manager on previous occasions.
  • A moderate willingness to travel internationally to collaborate with stakeholders and support the business objectives.
