Intelligent Resource are currently partnered with their leading client to recruit a Pensions Regulation Manager, the role is at the forefront of a team working closely with pension schemes to identify areas of concern, helping them improve and creating strategyto embed best practice, leading on a number of high level engagements and developing excellent stakeholder relationships.
The role is based in Brighton on a hybrid basis (typically 4/5 days per month)The Role;
- You will take a leading role in a relationship supervision team covering wide range of pension scheme types as the lead you will work with highest profile schemes.
- Developing, building and influencing key relationships that will allow you to both identify risk and best practice and act as a dedicated point of contact
- Leading on highlevel engagements and developing timely, efficient, and effective strategies
- Implement processes and guidance on new and arising issues, developing specialists and lead associates, making strategic decisions and negotiating positive outcomes
- Engage with senior leadership team, attending evaluation meetings, reviewing scheme documentation, and observing board meetings.
- Reviewing and responding to incidents, carrying out initial assessments and creating a plan on how the organisation should respond.
- Making recommendations and following up on assessments or action plans to improve
Experience Required
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of complex casework (or equivalent) and doing this through working independently and in a team.
- Sufficient experience in finance, banking, regulation, the law or pensions,
- Critical thinking skills that demonstrate your ability to evaluate information and identify risks, making complex decisions and recommendations.
- Demonstrable communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with experience at all levels to show how you can manage stakeholders and build relationships.
- Experience of project management and/or the continuous development of processes
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
