Description
Job SummaryMC Academy is looking for enthusiastic and talented EFL teachers, for both our Liverpool and Manchester schools. Candidates will teach international learners aged 16 and above. We offer face-to-face General English classes from Beginner to Advanced level (6 levels) as well as IELTS, Cambridge and OET exam preparation courses, ESP, EAP, Skills and Conversation classes.
We are aiming to run our next CELTA course in Autumn 2024. Any CELTA Tutors to conduct CELTA classes, General English and IELTS will be given most preference.

QualificationsEssential Requirements
Educated to degree level.
Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL.
All staff are required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check and complete an online Safeguarding course.
Eligible to work and live in the UK.
Desirable Requirements
Minimum of one-year teaching experience.
Experience preparing students for the IELTS exam.
Cambridge DELTA.Salary and BenefitsSalary is dependent on qualifications and experience ranging from £14.50 to £18.00 per hour.
Hours vary from 8am- 6pm from Monday to Friday. Typical teaching hours are 9am to 4pm.
Extensive CPD programme organised by highly qualified managers. Including external CPD training sessions, British Council and other well known organisations.
Friendly, supportive, professional and collaborative atmosphere.
Dress down Fridays.
Extra days holiday for full-time staff with every year of service.
