We're hiring Are you looking for a rewarding hybrid role where you will play a key part in supporting colleagues with their meeting and event planning? As well as delivering an exemplary front of house customer experience and supporting the workplace experience team on site to ensure the smooth running of the workplace experience across multiple contracts in the region.


What are we looking for?


We are looking for someone who is super organised, and fun You will be part the team managing all event and meeting booking requests, and work with the hosts to bring their meetings and events to life.

You will use your detail driven mindset to develop the meetings and event business through efficient electronic and verbal communication with customers and the operational team.

You will be occasionally checking in people at a meet and greet or liaising with the client to arrange and plan meeting room setup and locations.


Main Duties:


You will be the first point of contact for all meeting and event enquiries, and work alongside the operational team to ensure the client's needs are anticipated, and that we deliver above and beyond.

This role also has need for admin and operational support across contracts.

Part of this role you will be an ambassador to find worthy charities for us to support and work with.


  • Arrange Charity events with the local charities in the area.
  • Find suitable charities that are in line with Mitie and their aims in who we can support and sponsor
  • To prepare quotes, event run sheets, and provide recommendations.
  • To ensure the booking system is up to date.
  • To submit work orders and ensure associated costs are billed to the right department.
  • To occasionally be present and act as a point of contact for key events to liaise between the host and the operational team.
  • To actively build relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors
  • To manage and resolve any feedback issues, relating to the service provided by the operational team
  • Know the offer inside out, and be able to make informed recommendations to our clients
  • To demonstrate commercial acumen to minimise costs and maximise revenue
  • To ensure the operational team remain up to date with all relevant information and any lastminute changes
  • Provide admin and helpdesk support
  • To ensure that all company documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage a large workload, supporting multiple outlets and buildings
  • Must be highly proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge and Chrome
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role within the sector
