Shipping Coordinator

Location:
Felixstowe


Salary:
D.O.E

My client, a well-established Forwarder in Felixstowe who pride themselves on excellent customer service and knowledge.

Are looking for either someone with shipping industry experience or someone who is looking to start their career within the industry.


What's involved?

  • Arranging all relevant transportation documentation
- liaising with shipping lines and road/rail freight operators
- complying with all customs formalities and procedures to ensure smooth transit of cargo

  • Liaising with Customers
  • Filing of data and performing other routine clerical tasks as needed

What are they looking for?

  • Experience in Shipping Industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of systems such as Destin8, CNS & Datafreight
  • Experience in customs clearance would be an advantage
  • Good Communication skills
  • IT Literate
  • Happy to work within a team and individually
