Description

We are looking for a currently trained and experienced laundry operator to deliver a professional laundry / PPE service to site as part of our day team.

Duties:


  • Able to operate a continuous batch washer
  • Able to operate tunnel finisher
  • Able to operate a trifold garment folder
  • Able to operate an LX washer
  • Able to operate steam generated industrial dryers.
  • Safe operations within a chemical feed plant
  • Build up and servicing of MSA, Kemira and Airline respirators
  • Servicing of SC1 / chemical / gas tight / PVC / Air Blouses / Airline Suits
  • Make up criticiality belts
  • Prepare orders from Maximo ready for delivery to customers
  • Must be trained in PVC welding
  • Must be trained in industrial sewing machines and repairs.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:


  • Must be trained and competent in the use of monitoring equipment
  • Must be trained and competent in build up and servicing of all PPE
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be baseline security cleared or able to achieve this.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships (internal and external), and work collaboratively, is essential
  • Must have a full UK driving license

Desirable

  • High level of selfmotivation and an interest and aptitude for learning new skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary
  • Proficient IT skills (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
