Role Purpose:

To provide technical administration across a range of support functions, including but not limited to Archives, Microfilming, Dosimetry and Occupational Health Administration.

The role requires a high level of competency in assisting in the provision of technical/analytical support across a range of support functions to meet business objectives to agreed standards.


Deliverables

  • Provision of specified technical/analytical services to customer agreed standards and timescales.
  • Carry out designated work packages to meet standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
  • Maintain awareness of developments in own specialised fields.
  • Provide advice and guidance on issues in his/her own working area.
  • Where appropriate, assist in the training and development of others to appropriate standards.
  • To contribute to the improvement of safe environment/general housekeeping of the working area particularly in their own area of responsibility. This will be demonstrated by ownership of the area 5S programme.
  • Contributes to the sites' behavioural safety observation process.
  • Will be an active member of the Site Emergency Roll Call arrangements after undergoing relevant training.
  • Will support initiatives such as but not limited to 5 Pillars, 7 connected themes and others that may follow.
  • Complies with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.

  • They must be a team player with the flexibility to support other areas of the wider team as needed.
  • Must be able to operate machines unsupervised after agreed training.
  • Must have a desire for continuous improvement in the direct services the team offer.
  • Adheres to all legislative, regulatory and company procedures and standards e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. appropriate to the role.

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months in a similar role
