Role:

CE&I Craftsperson.
Springfields Fuels in Preston are recruiting for an experienced CE&I Craftsperson to work within the Uranium Recovery Business Unit. Working within a diverse team, delivering planned and corrective maintenance; supporting safe operation of a varied plant equipment.

The applicant should have experience working within a maintenance department and have completed an accredited apprenticeship.

Typical duties will include planned and corrective maintenance on automated equipment, rotating equipment, low voltage distribution systems, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.

Essential Attributes:
Experience working within a maintenance function.

Experience of instrumentation control loops.

NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

Qualified in IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

Ability to work and integrate within a team.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including P&ID, schematic and loop drawings.

Ability to follow safe systems of work and read / interpret engineering instructions.

Ability to obtain SC security clearance.

Self-motivated.

Desirable Attributes:
Experience working with SCADA & PLC control systems.

Experience working with safety systems.

DSEAR / Explosive atmosphere experience / qualification.

Chemical / Nuclear facility experience.

SC Clearance.

Aptitude for problem solving and continuous improvement.
