We are seeking an inspirational Packaging Development Lecturer who has the drive to deliver transformative teaching, contribute to the enhancement of our course curriculum and student experience, and engage with the Department's research and knowledge exchange agendas, to join our successful Apprenticeship staff team.

This post will contribute significantly to our degree apprenticeship BSc Packaging Professional.

Sheffield Hallam is the leading UK University in the Packaging Sector.

The BSc Packaging Professional is the UKs only degree in Packaging and is situated alongside our MA Design (Packaging) and cutting-edge Packaging industry research through the Art, Design & Media Research Centre and the multi award winning Design Futures Packaging Consultancy.


The staff team is engaged with the creative industries and pursue their own creative projects and research which feeds directly into teaching.

We welcome new ideas and approaches as part of ongoing development of the curriculum and student experience.


The Department of Art and Design at Sheffield Hallam University offers students a practice lead, research enhanced, contemporary Art and Design School experience.
