Overview:

One of South Wales most recognisable, and most desirable companies to work for is on the look out for an experienced Demand Planner to join their wider planning team of 8.

You will be supporting the Demand Planning Manager on the end to end demand and forecastingprocess for the business.

This is a really exciting opportunity that has the potential to grow, and open doorsto the wider business. You will be joining a successful team of Planners and a very welcoming and accommodating team / hiring manager.

It is a very exciting time to join the business with plenty of new products coming through development, and growth planson the horizon over the next 12 months.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for maintaining the monthly Demand Planning process
Develops demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation
Responsible for maintaining the Demand Planning system:
Providing all statistical projections (System to sku)
Maintains NPI, PLC, promotional initiative plans and assumptions
Models all alternative demand scenarios
Responsible for weekly Forecast Error root causing analysis process
Responsible for leading improvement initiatives to advance forecast accuracy
Responsible for preparing input, analysis & facilitating the monthly Demand Review
Responsible for analysing all key customer/product/segment trends

This role would suit someone who is confident in challenging current forecasting methods, analysing demand trends, and presenting to senior members within the business.

If you have experience in a Merchandising role within the retail, Manufacturing or FMCGindustry, then this could be a great opportunity for the next stage in your career.
