Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a role where you can make a long lasting impact on the lives of young people? This fabulous special school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has experience supporting children withmoderate learning difficulties and Autism.

This wonderful, warm and nurturing school provides children with an abundance of support on a daily basis.

You will be joining a team of Learning Support Assistants who are dedicated to ensuring that every child gets the most out of each day.

This role requires a LSA who has previous experience working with MLD and Autism, and who loves what they do Experienceas a Learning support Assistant or Classroom Assistant is essential for this role.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.

Job Role:

  • Supporting Key Stage 3 & 4 students on a 121 basis
  • Having a good understanding of MLD and Autism
  • Working as a Learning Support Assistant / TA
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and nurturing
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
