Our restaurant and retail outlets are lively, busy places where customers can refuel whilst soaking up the atmosphere of the tranquil beauty of the gardens.

You will be joining a big hearted, energetic, talented team managed by our contract catering group, 'Company of Cooks'. Great benefits provided.

Rate of pay:
Contact - £30.000 per year - 40 hour


Requirement: 2 years experience in events/hospitality environment


Food Service

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers
  • Ensure that the client expectations of events food and service are consistently delivered in line with the CH&CO brand at a given event
  • Liaise with chefs to ensure all food is ready on time and that dietary requirements have been noted
  • Build and deliver lunch bags as per orders around site
  • Build and deliver working lunches around site, setting these up as per guidelines
  • Liaise with all catering teams to ensure all departments have the correct information regarding events

Operational Delivery

  • Have input and involvement in the development of the event systems as and when appropriate
  • Always comply with the use of company systems.
  • Ensure the highest standards of service is always provided for our customers
  • Conduct full briefings to all staff regarding events, detailing food and food service standards to ensure that the staff are fully aware of the client requirements and their role in delivery.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure that all deliveries are made on time
  • Manage events within the Tulip Tree room
  • Breakdown from events, ensuring that the events kitchen and Tulip Tree Room is kept tidy
  • Set up function rooms as per guidelines
  • Ensure drinks stock is counted at the beginning and end of each event
  • Ensure accurate and thorough communication is maintained with all other departments of the business.
  • Carry out reasonable requests on behalf of the company and as requested by the Head of Operations or Senior company employees.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a high degree of visibility and a handson approach throughout events
  • Act as the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns at a given event, take any nece
