Here at Company of Cooks we operate all restaurants, bars, events and staff catering at the Royal Opera House, the restaurant and café at the National Portrait Gallery, and are being invited to return to the Royal Academy of Arts in Burlington Gardens after their 250th anniversary redevelopment.
The venue is made up of a number of buildings, several of which can be hired for events including weddings and Gala dinners.
The Painted Hall can host a grand banquet, whilst the Admiral's House is a grand venue for an intimate wedding or celebration.
The site is unique and dynamic, hosting concerts, festivals, talks and tours, whilst also being a daytime visitor attraction. It is an exciting and inspiring venue for events.Key responsibilities
- Be the client contact from enquiry stage, planning, through to handover of the event to the operations team
- Coordinating events, preparing final event summaries, including internal and external events.
- Lead on venue show rounds with your clients
- Be present for the start of the events to welcome the client and ensure a smooth handover
- Provide accurate business reports and possess an understanding of where we can increase revenue
- Be a key seller of the venue, assisted by the onsite sales team
- Support with venue marketing, including social media strategy, newsletters and creating and working to the marketing plan
- Assist with planned showcase events and familiarisation trips throughout the year
- Attend organised events to engage with clients
Eg:
open days, exhibitions, displays etc.
- Create quality proposals for our clients corporate, wedding and social, actively followup on each sales lead, gain commitment
- Achieve and exceed sales targets on room hire, food and beverage, sundry items.
- To provide the highest possible levels of customer care and selling the designated spaces and rooms through effective matching of clients' needs and building professional relationships
