We are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Assistant.


Job Purpose:


Support the commercial finance and on-site teams with processing transactions, track spends to produce flash and complete accurate & timely month end.

Spend 1-2 days per week supporting sector financial processes & projects.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The role reports to the Finance Business Partner and is part of the CH&Co Commercial finance team.

The role will be site based and support the site teams to deliver profitable results and in creating accurate and timely management accounts, client bills and management information.

The key to being successful in this role is an eye for detail and ensuring a commercial focus as well as ensuring accuracy in the information.

The individual will be interested in commencing their studies and have strong analytical skills. The individual is a good communicator and is prepared to manage a range of different stakeholders.


Site responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Maintain and monitor cost trackers to ensure site profitability is under constant review.
  • Produce regular reporting on current and short term business performance.
  • Enter sales and purchase information into the relevant bookwork system ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy, integrity, consistency and providing clear visibility of the financial health of the business.
  • Accurate accounting on income, including accrued and deferred revenue on a monthly basis, with clear visibility and communication to the business on noncurrent debt.
  • Highlighting and minimising key business risks, by understanding balance sheet position.
  • Adhoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.
