PART TIME OPPORTUNITY (20 Hours a Week)


Description:


Finance reporting, budget planning and Finance function strategy:

  • Lead of monthly closing of UK market sales: active participation in monthly, quarterly and year end sales closing to enable timely submission of accurate sales financial information to EMA region, partner & engage with associates from Shared Services,sales variance analysis, reviewing and analysing all internal reports to ensure informed timely corrective recommendations and action plans.
  • Proactive management of the sales P&L to ensure profit target is met through a close monitoring of risks & opportunities.
  • Sales Business planning and Forecasts: active participation in budget construction, close partnering with the sales team to analyse and understand their needs and challenges. Updating and submission of Sales Plan to EMA region with the support of the FP&ACOE Shared Service in Pinewood.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with J&J World Wide Procedures and SOX requirements. Improve and maintain Internal Controls documentation in conjunction with Regional Sox Manager.
  • Lead of Ad Hoc Regional Finance projects to shape and improve the Finance Function as required
  • Involvement in / drive standardization of process improvement & sharing best practice across Regional Finance Team & wider EMEA Finance teams where applicable
  • Implementation of IBP for UK business
  • Any other Ad-Hoc activities

Business partnering:

  • Indepth collaboration with the Sales Director and the UK Sales Team to provide proactive & innovative solutions to understand their challenges and resolve Business concerns.
  • Partner with Commercial Sales Team to build business cases and monitor product/customer contribution improvement.
  • Revenue tracking, pricing and return of investments analysis to facilitate profitability improvement.
  • Monitor, analyse and share macroeconomic environment, frame the possible financial implication & partner with Business to shape how it translates for the UK business (mitigation plans, opportunity plans)
  • Analyse, communicate & review Sales & GP Customer P&L performance with UK Commercial Sales Team
  • Develop specific analysis based on needs. Actively partner with Commercial Team to agree on resulting actions required & ensure successful execution and tracking.
  • Responds to adhoc analysis requests from regional management on a timely basis. Continuous improvement in methodology of working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Active member of the UK Commercial Sales Leadership Team.
  • Build strong interdependent partnerships with the UK Commercial Sales Team at all appropriate levels.
  • Communicate / share with UK Sales Director, UK Commercial Sales Leadership Team and wider UK Sales Team all relevant topics (e.g. Project updates, BU Country Performance, etc)
  • Exposure to the EMA Finance Management, Managing Director and the EMA Vision Care Board.
  • Any other Ad-Hoc activities
