Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) for someone with a passion for supporting staff and students and looking to use their skills in IT to make an impact on the ELTC summer school.

You will join the ELTC Tech Team in our large and diverse department reporting to the Senior Technical Officer.

The ELTC is part of The University of Sheffield and one of the largest university language centres in the UK.

You will use your IT skills to provide essential support to the ELTC Tech Team helping to ensure a high standard of technical support.

You will play a key role in supporting staff and students at the ELTC both online and in person.

This role offers you the opportunity to support and engage with international students and staff across a wide range of disciplines by ensuring a smooth delivery of IT support and customer focused services.

Training will also be provided.

You will:

Be educated to degree level or have an equivalent qualification/work experience in a IT related field
Have experience of working in a fastpaced IT support team with multiple customer deadlines.
Have good attention to detail
