- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with our Global Mega Project supply partners.
- Performing regular quality control audits to ensure Global Mega Project suppliers continue to work in compliance with the required standards.
- Maintain and continuously improve the supply partner QEHS document pack.
- Implementation of the supply partner QEHS system.
- Collaborate with supply partners to improve product quality and consistency.
- Implement the Quality maturation plan for flawless project launches.
- Create, manage, and maintain quality specification processes for all projects.
- Create, maintain, and analyse project dashboards.
- Be the point of contact for GMP customers relating to QEHS. Serving as a liaison between our company and the vendors to identify quality issues and come up with solutions.
- Mentor our supply partners.
- Ensure supplier compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards and policies.
- Performs and documents customer complaint root cause investigations.
- Performs and documents root cause investigations related to product and component rejections.
- Visiting supplier facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.
- Ensure that there is an effective inspection, containment and rework framework in place
- Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
- Reviews Certificates of Conformance as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or equivalent along with a minimum of five () years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods, gauging and measuring techniques.
- Well versed in quality tools and methods, including but not limited to D, Ishikawa, Why, SPC, Pareto, etc.
- Metrology, inspection methods and equipment.
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO / ISO/ ISO/ ISO
- Lean / Six Sigma Experience
- Ability to present data accurately and effectively. Excellent communication skills within all levels of the organizations.
- Working knowledge of quality systems and software.
- A highly organised, self-starter and logical thinker.
- Proficiency in Navisworks Manage, Revit, Inventor preferred.

We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Control Manager – Global Mega Projects to be based out of our Dudley, UK facility. Reporting to the President, Cable Management & Protection, this person will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our Global Mega Project supply partners. Performing regular quality control audits to ensure Global Mega Project suppliers continue to work in compliance with the required standards. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, formulating corrective and preventive measures, and working to implement those actions to improve quality levels and customer compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or equivalent along with a minimum of five () years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
