So, what will I be doing?
Reporting to the Director of People and working within a fast-paced environment, you will provide a high-quality onboarding and HR systems support to new starters, People Team colleagues and the wider organisation.
The role itself has multiple aspects, therefore, it is essential you have the ability to flex and adapt to ever changing work priorities.
_ Recruitment & Onboarding_ - Supporting the People Attraction team, you will provide a high-quality onboarding service to new all recruits. This will include, but not limited to
- Generating offer letters, contracts of employment and onboarding documentation using our inhouse Application Tracking System (ATS)
- Undertaking new starter IT equipment requests.
- Completing new starter vehicle and fuel cards requests via our fleet management provider (when required).
- Completing new starter systems setup; eDays holiday system, Astute eLearning, Xpedeon (Payroll system), The Hub (intranet).
_ HR Compliance _- We must ensure that we fulfil our legal requirements, complying with employment legislation, as an example. You will be tasked to ensure we record new starter Right to Work inline with our policies, which will also include driving licence checks via fleet management provider where required.
If all of the above were not enough to trigger your interest within this role, you will also pick up general People Team support administrative duties to include:
- People Support shared in-box.
- Processing starters and leavers on People Team systems.
- The Hub (intranet) update, development and maintenance.
- Processing People Team invoices.
What do we need from you?
You will have an exceptional understanding of HR Systems and Recruitment Onboarding Processes.
This, coupled with excellent organisational and people skills, allowing you to develop proactive relationships with your stakeholders, securing the ability to influence outcomes.
We will be seeking an individual who:
- Understands the nature of the work and the requirement for confidentiality.
- Has the ability to work within a busy and demanding environment, remaining calm under pressure.
- Proven experience in a similar HR/Systems role.
