Job Title:
Purchasing Assistant

Salary:
£22,000 to £23,000

Shift pattern:
Office hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Search Engineering and Manufacturing have once again partnered with a leading Drinks and Snacks solution business and we are looking for someone to join this rapidly growing company to deliver excellent customer service and deliver a high standard of work.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing all aspects of procurement within your given department
Able to understand the customer's demand
Working closely with Suppliers to place Forecast orders
Working collaboratively to reach KPIs
Introducing new products within your designated department
Taking charge of updating systems when product demand changes
Managing stock level requirements

Skills and experience required for this role include:

Have existing Technical Skills that will assist you in being successful in the role
Have a strong emphasis on delivering a high level of customer service
Have experience within a similar, office based, role
Competent in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Is able to work collaboratively within a team
Uses own initiative to get tasks completed
Good problem solving capabilities
Being a reliable and punctual member of the team
High attention to detail
