First Step Sports Group is a leading physical activity & training provider, working with schools, local authorities, community groups, businesses, and individuals across the North of England.
Based in Yorkshire, with an expanding network of experienced team members located across the region, the business is comprised of 5 divisions, each specialising in a different area of physical activity development and delivery: First Step Physical Education, First Step Training, First Step Cycle, First Step Sports Development, Ballers, and Kids Takeover.
The Position
We are seeking a full-time Group Delivery Team Lead with experience working in a service delivery industry, managing the Groups delivery services and standards.
You will maintain an excellent industry knowledge of department services and represent the brand, its vison, and values to ensure that the Group achieves its annual goals, and performance targets which focuses around, quality standards, growth, team performance, customer and staff retention and satisfaction.
This role requires an individual with strong leadership capabilities, communication skills and the ability to develop and implement successful management strategies.
It will be your responsibility to guide the delivery team by motivating the department Team Leaders to ensure that the company's vision and goals, delivery, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
- £23,000 - £26,000

- Assist in the Groups recruitment processes
- Complete practical assessments
- Conduct Interviews
- Achieve Group Goals/Targets
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Complete Delivery Standards Workshops
- Maintain Delivery Standards, Performance & Quality Assurance Coordination
- Product/Service Development
- Recruitment Marketing Coordination
- Delivery Team Induction
- Annual Appraisals and reviews
- Dept Delivery Resource & Policy management
- Health & Safety Coordination
- Staff Training & Development
- Data Management Review
- 2 Days Delivery and Contingency Cover
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Management, hiring and training experience
- Natural leader
- Quick analytical thinking
- Knowledge and understanding of sport, education, or similar industry
- Has a good understanding of Child Protection, Child Development, Health and Safety and Sports Equity principles, policies and procedures and subsequent training
- Trouble shooting skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Effective Communicator
- Computer skills and reporting experience
- Ability to manage a dynamic and changing workforce
