Process Engineer - United Kingdom - PM Group

Description

PM Group is looking for Process Engineer with FEED & Plant-based experience to support a fine chemical site in West Yorkshire.

Responsibilities
Fast-track development of a brownfield project to get to +/-30% capital cost estimate
Engineering documentation including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and / or modifications to existing
Equipment lists, datasheets & design calculations for new and existing equipment
Scoping & Pricing equipment and presenting proposals to senior management
Development of risk assessments.
Completion of all appropriate safety studies within defined timeframe
Other tasks in-keeping with the remit of a chemical engineering consultant
Overseeing the Installation & Commissioning phases
Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience of working as a process engineer primarily in bulk chemicals

Knowledge of standard industry practices, procedures and safety measures is essential, including a deep understanding of GMP and process safety practices.

The successful candidates will have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to challenge and work with other technical engineers and project stakeholders.

Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or other relevant discipline.
Experience in process modelling software would be advantageous, particularly Aspen plus.
