CHIEF OF STAFF - DATA ENGINEERING (BIRMINGHAM BASED)
A global investment bank is seeking someone to join the chief of staff team and help with managing various operational functions at a central level for Data Engineering


CHIEF OF STAFF - DATA ENGINEERING ROLE:

  • Managing a wide variety of initiatives for senior leadership of the division
  • Developing management presentations (both internal and external to Engineering)
  • Planning and overseeing the implementation of key programs to address audit findings and regulatory requirements
  • Overseeing the division's workforce strategy and organizational design
  • Managing the divisional communications strategy
  • Driving the external outreach strategy
  • Onboarding and offboarding of employees and contingent workers (CW)
  • Raising RM and CW requests
  • Initiating transfers and followups (inter and intra departments)
  • RMS Tree Maintenance and cleanup (weekly data issues cleanup)
  • Cyborg management
  • Supporting hiring efforts with regards to FTE and CW onboarding needs
  • Monitoring program/project hygiene
  • Artemis time booking validation
  • BCP quarterly certification oversight

CHIEF OF STAFF - DATA ENGINEERING ESSENTIALS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in an analytical function
  • Ability to handle multiple, timesensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong stakeholder/relationship management
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products with focus on Excel and Powerpoint, tools and utilities for business use
  • Willing to work 5 days in office
