Bedford offers all new staff a comprehensive induction programme and as part of this, new Heads of Department receive bespoke training and dedicated mentoring and coaching throughout their first year in post.

Each year, new teachers join the school from posts teaching in the state and independent sectors in the UK and internationally.

We run a specific induction programme for all new academic leaders, drawing on professional development programmes designed centrally by the Harpur Trust.

Our Languages department is thriving and ambitious with a very experienced team of teachers and we are excited to expand the team with this new post.
