Description

Store Person required for a business on the outskirts of Durham. This is a full-time, permanent role.

The Role
Working for this very friendly, family run business, you will be part of a small team within the stores.

Working hours are Mon-Fri and duties are as follows:

Carrying out regular stock checks;
On occasion delivering stock to site (this can be very heavy lifting);
Ordering stock;
Dealing with returns of faulty goods and coordinating replacements;
Some maintenance of the grounds of the building;
Sorting waste materials such as cardboard and plastic ensuring appropriate recycling;
Picking stock to order;
Creating purchase orders.

The Person
Applications are welcome from people with recent relevant experience.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting as part of the role.

In addition to this applicants must have a full, clean driving licence, good general admin skills and a positive, can do attitude.

Remuneration
£27,000 to £28,000 per annum
