Description

Web designer to start as soon as possible on a maternity contract for our Colchester based digital agency client.

As web designer you will be central to developing a great working relationship with their clients in ensuring they have received a great experiencein their projects being delivered on time and to a high standard.

In your role as web designer, you will get to know the clients as you'll be part of workshops and stand
- with both the client directly as well as the company's Strategy team.

The Role

Work closely with the Heads of Design and Build and UX.
Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of handson web design and associated graphics.
Concepts and designs for marketing material and full websites
Working within a full website project team across UX, design and development to deliver projects on time
Responsible for facetoface client communication.
Working to client brand guidelines
Continually look at ways to improve the efficiency and productivity within the Design and Build team.
Work with team members and client stakeholders
Present concepts and completed work and justify design decisions
Incorporate constructive feedback
Work on more than one project at once

The Person

Previous experience in designing full websites, Banner ads, assets for social media, basic animation, simple video edits, infographics and Icons
Must possess confident skills in Adobe suite (XD, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign)
Ideally proficient in Figma, Sketch, Google web Designer and Adobe After Effects
Strong team player but also with the ability to work on own initiative
Able to start in December

Competitive salary up to £35k Doe
If fixed term: Private health care (after 6 months service), 25 days holiday per annum, Contributory pension scheme 3%.
Flexible start time (7:45am 16:30pm or 8:45am 17:30pm).
An early finish on Fridays 15:30pm.
