Description
Jellycat have an exciting opportunity for a newAccounts Payable Assistant to join our growing Finance Team. This role is suitable for someone with 2+ years experience within an accounts payable team.
The role and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Processing purchase invoices and preparation of all payment runs
- Manage Concur staff expenses system
- Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system, including invoices, payments and allocations
- Management of direct debits and administration of company credit cards
- Support in preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
- Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Implementing and adhering to controls
- Assisting with yearend audits
- Training operational teams on GL coding
- Ad hoc reporting and assistance when required
Required knowledge and skills:
- 2+ years of experience within an Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail & good understanding of Excel
About you:
- Good financial knowledge and studying/desire to study towards a qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
- Highly organized and ability to prioritise your workload appropriately.
- Collaborative and proactive.
