Jellycat have an exciting opportunity for a new
Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing Finance Team. This role is suitable for someone with 2+ years experience within an accounts payable team.

The role and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Processing purchase invoices and preparation of all payment runs
  • Manage Concur staff expenses system
  • Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system, including invoices, payments and allocations
  • Management of direct debits and administration of company credit cards
  • Support in preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Implementing and adhering to controls
  • Assisting with yearend audits
  • Training operational teams on GL coding
  • Ad hoc reporting and assistance when required

Required knowledge and skills:


  • 2+ years of experience within an Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail & good understanding of Excel

About you:


  • Good financial knowledge and studying/desire to study towards a qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Highly organized and ability to prioritise your workload appropriately.
  • Collaborative and proactive.
