Reporting to:
Financial Controller


Salary:
£45k - £40k


Location:
Mayfair, London (1 day per week WFH)

Our client is a multinational Hospitality group headquartered in London with operations across the globe.

In order to support future growth and increase the capabilities of the finance department, they now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, drivenand intelligent Accounts Payable Supervisor.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of two AP personnel.
  • Supervise payment queries and month end close for AP.
  • Supervise the company expenses on Concur and process for payment.
  • Review the aged creditor report.
  • Reconciliation and maintenance of the supplier ledgers.
  • Complete Bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting the team with daily, weekly and monthly tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing and approving payment runs.
  • Reviewing postings, ensure costs are coded accurately and matched correctly against POs.
  • Review supplier statements and reconciliations.
  • Corporate credit card reconciliation.
  • Support and drive the growth and integration of the AP function and system.
  • Assist with audit requests and make recommendations to improve controls.
  • Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators for the AP function.

Qualification/Experience:


  • At least 5 years' experience working in an accounts payable function with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial position.
  • Experience of working with multiple entities and multiple currencies.
  • Identifies and solves problems to ensure efficient and effective running of AP processes.
  • Excellent Excel, able to adapt to new software with ease.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy.
  • Be able to work effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic.
  • Works well within a small team.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to inhouse systems and suggest improvements.
  • Knowledge of SunSystems is desirable but not mandatory
