    Description

    Join our team as EMEA Financial Accountant

    Our client, based in Tring, Hertfordshire, is a well-established, forward-thinking company seeking a qualified accountant to take on the role of EMEA Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

    This opportunity is ideal for an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with significant experience in the manufacturing sector. In this position, you will have direct responsibility for all company entities, including international offices in the USA and Australia, as well as branch offices in various European countries such as Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and The Netherlands.

    The company, operating in the manufacturing industry with overseas presence, has a total turnover of £50m, with £40m attributed to international operations. Candidates with a background in international manufacturing are preferred. You will collaborate with a seasoned team of 4 individuals, closely supporting the Finance Director and overseeing EMEA branch offices.

    The ideal candidate will possess commercial acumen along with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications. Proficiency in managing overseas entities is a must.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of international management accounts
    • Development of budgets and forecasts
    • Strategic costing analysis and financial planning, including transfer pricing
    • Handling overseas tax affairs
    • Payroll management
    • Supervision of accounting systems
    • Financial auditing procedures
    • Legal compliance
    • Statutory reporting obligations
    • Establishing overseas entities
