VACANCY - CUSTOMER SERVICES CO-ORDINATOR (WE HAVE 2 FULL TIME, PERMANENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE)
LOCATION - HILLINGTON (Free onsite employee parking and located near to rail links)
SALARY:
- £ £28500 May be Further negotiable depending on background and level of experience
HOURS:
- 37 hours per week, spread over 4.5 days (EARLY FINISH EVERY FRIDAY)

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Large, international manufacturer of very high quality engineering products are delighted to be expanding their customer services team in Glasgow.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Customer Service Co-ordinator builds and maintains relationship with the territory sales representatives, distributors and customers.
Acting as the quote/order lead, you will be the first point of contact for territory sales representatives.
You will organise and prepare quotation proposals, co-ordinate technical and commercial requirements, review customer orders for acceptance. Provide support and back-up to field sales representatives as well as customers on product needs. Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customers needs and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own a set of accounts or territory with the objective of providing outstanding service. You will be corresponding directly and working closely with assigned territory sales representatives.
- Review quotation/pricing requests promptly to determine the appropriate pricing levels
- Build technical knowledge for all brands.
- Discuss important quotations, significant purchase orders, returned goods requests and any other important transactions with Sales and Management.
- Organise and review all bids with special, nonstandard commercial bid requirements (i.e. terms and conditions, warranty clauses). Recommend modifications, pricing and obtain approvals.
- Prepare final quotation to customers, including organising commercial, technical and customer requirements.
- First point of contact on all order resolution, order enquiries and expediting requests.
- Coordinate resolution to customer complaints, warranty replacements, return goods and any discrepancies.
Skills and Experience
years customer service experience required. (Preferably in a Technical Manufacturing setting).
- SAP experience (desirable).
- Can confidently interpret bills of material and technical datasheets.
- Manufacturing/Technical knowledge understand contract review stages through to manufacturing release.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at a time, while paying strict attention to detail.
- Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, intermediate level Excel.
