VACANCY:


  • Project Coordinator (this is a FULL TIME, PERMANENT CAREER OPPORTUNITY)
Based within the Customer Service and Project Management Team.


SALARY - £ There MAY be some negotiation for a person of the right level of experience).

LOCATION - Hillington (FREE onsite employee parking. Also very close to rail links).


HOURS:


  • 37 hours per week spread over 4.5 days. Early finish at 1.30pm every Friday and also the OPTION to work from home on a Friday.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Reporting to Customer Service Snr Supervisor, the Project Coordinator provides support to project stakeholders for all project phases from technical specification, quoting and order completion.

Assuring on-time completion in accordance with contractual requirements.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the customer and various departments internally, planning, purchasing and operations to support their efforts on each project to monitor, record and report status through successful completion and closure.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer projects as assigned and monitoring progress and corresponding with all parties regarding status
  • Update project status reports on a regular basis
  • Review quotation/pricing requests promptly to determine the appropriate pricing levels
  • Build technical knowledge for all brands
  • Coordinate activities and make necessary arrangements for all factory visitors replating to a project including order inspections.
  • Organize and review all bids with special, nonstandard commercial bid requirements (i.e.; terms and conditions, warranty clauses). Recommend modifications, pricing and obtain approvals.
  • Prepare final quotation to customers, including organizing commercial, technical and customer requirements
  • First point of contact on all order resolution and order inquiries and expediting request
  • Assist in continuous development of the Project Management Team

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years customer service or project coordination experience required
  • SAP experience desirable (or similar ERP Platform)
  • Prince2 / equivalent preferred
  • An understanding of the relevant bill of material and technical datasheets involved would be advantageous. this is to assist with contract review stages prior to manufacturing release
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, intermediate level Excel

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a related field
  • Preferred but not essential.
