MAIN DUTIES

  • Undertake internal and external general repairs
  • Identify potential maintenance needs and reporting to the site supervisor for consideration
  • Work to establish supportive relationships with staff, in order to facilitate effective communication and partnership
  • Carrying out pre-determined maintenance checks ensuring that specific guidelines are followed
  • Adhere to Safeguarding and Confidentiality Policies and Procedures
  • To support with the maintenance and develop centre grounds and gardens
  • Attend planning meetings and under the overall direction and guidance of the centre manager, contribute to the short, medium and long term planning and preparation of specific events
  • Be aware of the Health and Safety implications of the role performed and adhere to any requirements of the Landau Health & Safety Policy
  • To be able to accurately record completed work
  • To ensure the safe use of equipment and that it is fully maintained and fit for purpose
  • Being aware of cost implications and ensuring the most effective and efficient fix
  • Take part in and /or provide relevant training
  • To work within the framework of all Landau Policies and Procedures

Hours:
Zero Hours Contract

- on as 'as required' basis

£15-£20 per hour

As this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
