Business Associate for Beauty/Hair Studio
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and business-minded individual to join our beauty/hair studio as a Business Associate.
As a Business Associate, you will play a crucial role in the success and growth of our studio by supporting and assisting in various administrative, operational, and marketing tasks.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and creative environment, contributing to the overall success of our business.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist in managing and organizing the studio's daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, client bookings, and recordkeeping.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide information about services, pricing, and appointment availability.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure efficient stock management.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop growth strategies and promotional activities to attract new clients and increase revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
Client Relations:
- Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
- Handle client feedback, suggestions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain client database and ensure accurate and updated client records.
Financial Management:
- Assist in financial activities, including tracking expenses, managing payments, and processing invoices.
- Support with budgeting and financial reporting, providing necessary information to the management team.
Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the hairdressers and stylists to ensure smooth studio operations, including appointment management, salon cleanliness, and overall organization.
- Help maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the beauty or hair industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Basic knowledge of beauty/hair salon operations, terminology, and services.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience with social media platforms is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work on evenings and weekends as per studio requirements.

Salary:
£19,307.02-£63,457.35 per year

Experience:
- stylist: 1 year (preferred)
- Hairdressing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
