The Role
You'll be joining a large friendly and welcoming team who provide tailored. person-centred support to 15 amazing individuals with a range of support needs and personalities.

All individuals have their own tenancies within the same housing support complex, so you'll be based at the one location for your shifts.

There's never a dull moment, so if you'd love a job where every day is different and you have great team environment, then this could be just the role for you


As a Support Practitioner, you will support the individuals with day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, appointments, finances, personal care and medication.


TeamBessie are an active bunch, so you'll also find yourself getting involved in a range of activities both within the individuals' homes, the service communal area and out in the local community.

Our team are very creative at organising different activities and regularly put on a variety of events for the individuals we support to encourage social inclusion and give the individuals opportunities to experience new things.


All 15 individuals are unique and enjoy different hobbies and interests, so your time out in the community will include things like going to the football, cinema, bowling and day trips to name a few.

They also have a wide range of in-house hobbies too ranging from gaming, reading and knitting to formula one, making clothes and cooking


About you

We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too
**What we need you to bring: - **- A caring attitude and approach

  • Good at communication skills
  • An understanding of the important of following guidelines and routines
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • The ability to cook healthy meals (we have a big focus on healthy eating in #TeamBessie)

Shift Patterns


We provide flexible, customer-led services that run twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, which include mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Weekends, waking nights and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
