    Description
    A high growth privately owned events and hospitality company is looking for Head of Finance to join the business.

    As Head of Finance you will report directly into the Managing Director and work closely with the owners of the business.

    The role will oversee all aspects of finance and manage a small team.


    The role will involve the following:nSTRATEGY, FORECASTING & BUDGETINGnWork closely with the Managing Director and Founders to develop our financial strategy.nAssist with the preparation, design, and maintenance of show, project, and annual budgets.nDeveloping rolling forecasts and what-if models to help guide a rapidly growing and changing business.nAdvise on the financial viability of new business development.

    Lead on financing options, including leasing and debt finance.


    CONTROL & PROCESSnAdopt an approach of continuous improvement suitable for a fast- growth business.nMaintain strong internal controls, with clear documented procedures.nDesign, maintain and iteratively improve the financial tech stack.

    Develop and control budgets across departments, identifying cost- reduction opportunities.nEnsure all financial aspects of the business comply with legislation and develop compliance across the organisation.nManage cash flow, treasury and working capital to minimise risk.


    REPORTINGnResponsible for producing the monthly Group management accounts, including thenGroup consolidation.nResponsible for the year-end statutory accounts, working with outsourced accounting firm.nWorking with department heads to deliver meaningful reports.


    MANAGEMENT & FINANCE ADMINISTRATIONnOversee the day-to-day accounting for the company.nManage the monthly financial timetable and coordinate with the team.nOversee and be accountable for payrolls, including staff benefits, expenses and pensions.

    Preparation and submission of VAT returns.


    The client is looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) and you will have previous experience of working in a high growth company with a consumer focus.

    This role would suit a strong financial controller looking to step up into their 1st No 1 role. They offer hybrid working 3 days a week in the office in Central London. This a great opportunity to join an ambitious company who have shown strong performance to date
