We are currently working with a fantastic authority that is looking for a Senior Placement Officer

Please note:

This role is to work the following hours: Monday to Friday 4pm to 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm plus Bank Holidays 9am to 4pm.

MUST be available for an interview immediately with no notice period due to immediate start.


To lead on the brokerage of services on behalf of residents who have specific social care needs, using expert knowledge of client groups, systems, care markets and negotiation skills to ensure that appropriate, value for money care is commissioned.

To manageand support junior staff. To manage and support junior staff.

To ensure referrals for discharges from hospital are facilitated in a responsive way to the targeted timeframes of the NHSE guidance (7 days a week, 8am - 8pm) and within 3 hours of a resident becomingoptimised for discharge.

To respond in a timely way to community referrals to source and purchase appropriate settings to meet the needs of the residents.
