A-Level Progress Tutor (36 hrs per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks per year) Various Opportunities (Fixed term and Permanent)

To deliver weekly tutorials to the support career journey and deliver a range of pastoral topics in line with our commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing and personal development.

To support learners in attaining high levels of attendance and punctuality andto work with learners on a 1-1 basis to develop and encourage successful outcomes.

To monitor learner engagement and where appropriate work with learners and parents to ensure that College standards are maintained.


What you'll need:

Enthusiasm, resilience and motivation, with a relevant degree or equivalent coupled with a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy knowledge.

A broad range of curriculum knowledge/qualification structure e.g. BTEC,City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeships. Specific knowledge of A Level and HE structures.

Experience of the UCAS process and progression opportunities including f the issues facing young people with barriers to their learning (including social, emotional, behavioural).Your also need to be experienced in target setting and monitoring with learners.
